Enclosed above is the paper 'Consultation on a European Strategy for Nanometrology'. This paper has been published under the EC FP7 funded project Co-Nanomet.
Co-Nanomet is a pan-European programme of activities addressing the need within Europe to create the required measurement framework for nanotechnology in order to support its development and economic exploitation.
As part of this project, a foresight review has been conducted that surveys current nanometrology requirements and future strategies in support of the development of European nanotechnology.
The technical findings of the review are summarised in the consultative paper. Both the consultative paper and feedback received will form input to a European strategy for nanometrology. This paper is intended, therefore, to both open dialogue at a Europen level as well as to inform on the subject and we wish to invite interested parties to contribute views and information.
