Stakeholder Workshop on the Future European Infrastructure in Nanometrology
The definition a European strategy for the coordination of nanometrology in Europe requires advice on the investments in the future nanotechnological infrastructure. The workshop announced here offers the opportunity to actively contribute to the strengthening of existing and establishment of new infrastructures. A coherent pan-European overview of organisations and associated capabilities in nanometrology is presented to initiate the discussions. Along with further data gathered by the Co-Nanomet Consortium and additional input from experts in the field, the future needs, possible bottle necks, and guidelines are to be declared. The meeting is held by Danish Fundamental Metrology (DFM) in Copenhagen/Denmark on the 23rd/24th of September 2010 with speakers and key stakeholders from a wide range of nanotechnological services and applications.
